march...

thank heavens for padded pants!

Simon Hutton, MD at to the point, has signed up for the London to Brighton cycle ride on the 21st of June. Training must be under way as we've all seen the rubber ring that now adorns his chair, but if you want to make his pain worthwhile, make a donation to the British Heart Foundation by clicking here.

to the point updates

Newsprinters
As part of our ongoing identity and interior graphics campaign for Newsprinters, we have recently created an engaging, continuous 208m wall graphic for the huge principal corridor. This uses quirky imagery and facts to communicate the distance covered at any given point down the length of the corridor.

EPSRC
To The Point have devised a high-profile campaign brand to help EPSRC emphasise the impact of engineering and physical sciences research on society. "It will help us tackle the perception that complex fundamental science doesn't have an impact on the real world or improve our quality of life – reaching out and engaging new audiences for us," said David Reid, head of communications at EPSRC.

march

This month's calendar image depicts a mother and child, representing 'Mother's Day'. This special day actually has it's roots going as far back as 250BC when the Romans worshipped the Mother Goddess Cybele – however, Mother's Day as it's celebrated today is a relatively recent invention and occurs on many different days around the world. So if you HAVE forgotten to send that card, don't worry, use the excuse that most of the rest of the world actually celebrates Mother's Day on May 10th this year!
