By taking the normal PDF format and enhancing functionality through design and interactivity, this adaptation of the printed SG newsletter allows the reader to navigate using a permanent contents section on the left, similar to a website.

The PDF can be personalised for internal communications by adding links that take you to the intranet or internet. This allows access to more detailed information keeping the newsletter appropriate and punchy. Landscape format ensures no scrolling and the document can be printed out to A4. The format allows for the company branding to be consistent whilst the small file size allows it to be easily emailed both internally and externally (whilst many emails are blocked, including HTML email formats, PDF's have no such issue, they can also be forwarded on with no loss of information).
