New ideas for New Capital

Back in June we showed you our creative marketing campaign for New Capital, which allowed us to push the brand even further. This month we were commissioned to design the visual identity of their white papers as well as a creative CityWire magazine cover wrap, in line with our recent campaign.

As with all of our branding projects, once an identity has been created we are always looking for ways to creatively enhance the brand and visually “translate” the elements across a variety of materials, ensuring consistency throughout. Such is the case with New Capital, where we have expanded their identity to a marketing campaign featuring ads and HTML5 banners and just this month, across their white papers and industry-specific magazines.

New Capital’s white papers are very specific to the industry, so our challenge was to come up with creative cover ideas that could easily provide a visual snapshot summarising each topic. 

Our approach was to keep in line with the established and newly created identity, but giving it an interesting twist – introducing the blueprint pattern and combining that with a sector-specific colour and New Capital’s trademark vibrant lines. This enhances New Capital’s visual ownership over the materials they produce for their clients, creating an instantly recognisable brand look and feel.

We were also tasked with designing an eye-catching cover wrap for Swiss magazine CityWire, which provides news, information and insight for professional advisers and investors around the world. Our idea was to continue the New Capital narrative and visualise a journey through benefits, focusing on the launch of the New Capital Swiss Select Equity Fund.

And to round off the month we worked with the London and Hong Kong teams to come up with a creative design for their very own VR Headset, which will offer more insight into New Capital and their investment aims.
