breath of fresh air for the General Dental Council R&A
The General Dental Council (GDC) is the organisation which regulates dental professionals in the United Kingdom. All dentists, dental nurses, dental technicians, dental hygienists, dental therapists, clinical dental technicians and orthodontic therapists must be registered with GDC to work in the UK.
After a 3 way creative and credentials presentation, to the point won and were commissioned to design this years General Dental Council Report and Accounts.
Managing Director Simon Hutton says 'Previous accounts had focused on big smiles with white teeth but this year we pushed on a more strategic approach, focusing on patient protection as a number one priority.'
Creative was led by creative director Kevin Cox who adds 'by introducing everyday people in everyday situations, supported by large typographic quotes, we were able to convey the message that UK dental patients could get on with their lives safe in the knowledge that GDC would be looking after their interests.'
Katherine Vale, GDC Communications Manager says, “To the point have led the GDC into new territory, using a visual style which really reflects the people we are here to protect – the UK public at large. We’re really pleased with the finished result.”
To the point worked closely with the GDC to ensure content, tone of voice and visual styles were aligned, reinforcing the concept of patient protection and raising standards. For more information about GDC visit: www.gdc-uk.org
