Following on from our successful rebranding of Sean Hanna, the award winning hair salon chain, we were commissioned by the serial entrepreneur himself to look at the identity and branding for his new online beauty product venture, Looks Gorgeous: www.looksgorgeous.com
Spotting a gap in the market and using his extensive knowledge of the sector, Sean wanted to create a user friendly, helpful, online experience that provided top quailty salon products but at online prices – backed up by free help, advice and support.
Managing director Simon Hutton says "The brief for the brand was to create something luxurious which reflects the luxury retail sector, echoing brands such as Chanel and YSL. Originally, it was to be purely typographic but we persuaded Sean to look at symbols that could evolve into a recognisable mark that eventually he could develop as an own label brand for the online store and his salons."
The identity has been completed with a clever symbol made up of an entwined L and G. It is now being implemented across materials and on the e-commerce site which is currently being developed and tested. The identity reflects the quality of the product and that of the new company, underpinning the fact that customers will be getting advice from experts who use the products on a daily basis.
Sean Hanna, director of Looks Gorgeous, said "to the point really wanted to understand our company goals and philosophy and were able to help us take our vision to a new level. We are working with a very focussed and professional team who are passionate and proud of the work they produce."
