Following an initial competitive proposal, new start-up company 'Waste-a-Base' commissioned to the point to create their logo, guidelines, and stationery for the launch of this new brand.
The client initially undertook web research and then visited the shortlisted agencies for a credentials presentation. Joe Jackson of waste-a-base said 'TTP stood out as understanding our business and requirements quickly. Although not the cheapest agency, we felt their credentials demonstrated that they produce identities that reflect the business they represent as well as a strategic approach to the application of the brand across all collaterals. We look forward to developing a long term working relationship with them.”
Waste-a-base has been set up with the aim of providing a service waste producers are introduced to suitable waste receivers of all shapes and sizes, marrying the Producer and Receiver. In addition to ensuring appropriate and compliant disposal, the service will also offer benefits to the environment by reducing the amount of unnecessary material entering landfill sites wherever possible.
An entirely online resource, Waste-a-Base have worked with to the point to create a professional identity, and an icon which encompasses many of the company’s values and benefits. Mark Stevens, lead designer comments “The top line represents the space provided by waste receivers, and the bottom illustrates an amount of waste from producers. The arrows reflect the flow of material throughout this process. These two elements come together to form the W of waste-a-base.”
To the point are currently in the process of designing relevant stationery including business cards and letterhead, and will also put together basic guidelines for the brand going forward. Upcoming potential collateral include a corporate brochure, website design and e-newsletter.
