East Homes communicate with colour
East Homes, part of East Thames Group, is a mixed tenure, resident-focused organisation that offers a wide range of affordable housing options to people in east London and Essex. East Homes is more than a housing association. Through their social responsibility and neighbourhood regeneration programmes they make a real difference to the communities in which they work. With several developments underway, or about to start, hoardings had been erected and painted to cover the construction work. At a presentation meeting with East Thames Group, previous work by to the point on hoardings for Land Securities were shown and an opportunity was seen. It was agreed that the East Thames hoardings could be used to enhance their brand positioning within the community by adding colour and vibrancy to otherwise dull builders boards. Overlay panels were commissioned to communicate key messages and the value East Thames Group is bringing to the area. Senior account manager Glenn Wood says: The head office hoarding is now up and to the point are working on the next hoardings that covers a 250 metre run in Barking. East Homes hoardings across the area are set to become a creative yet functional tool informing, advising and promoting the services of East Homes. Senior designer Nikki Gay adds “its nice to work on a project that breaths life into a community with positive themes as well as the usual sales messages you see on hoardings”. Marketing Manager Sophia Brooks of East Homes says - Note to Editors *East Homes receives funding from and is regulated by the Housing
