New website for RHJB Architects

A couple of months ago we introduced you to RHJB Architects, who not only share an office space with us but have also convinced the powers that be to do a total office makeover! In return, we’ve helped them with their very own brand makeover, from their identity to business cards and finishing off with their sleek new website!

The first creative challenge was to give their logo a more modern and contemporary look and feel, whilst at the same time communicating the collaborative partnership between Richard and Jonathan. The grey, blue, white and yellow colour palette is used to highlight key information and, in combination with the chunky typeface, create a striking yet elegant visual balance.

With the identity sorted, discussions began on an approach for the website. To deliver the best solution we really need to understand the brand story and the journey our clients want their target audience to take. We’ve worked with market leading Architects in the past so know that photography plays a huge part in the website, and in fact all communications. For us this should go beyond just showing great designs and buildings – all the competitors do this. We believe in adding real personality, the foundation of a brand, and RHJB have this in bundles. So the first thing we did was to get our very own designer, Joe Cook, to take some reportage snaps of the duo in the studio and capture them at work, bouncing ideas off each other.

Having captured the personality of the founders of the business, the website’s overall look and feel required a minimalist approach, with the accent colours used to highlight key information and the photography and CGI’s of their projects given space to speak for themselves.

We are very proud of the end result, but don’t take our word for it. Take RHJB’s words: “We were thrilled with the proactive approach of the team at To The Point, who immediately looked to understand us, our company, our approach and importantly our aspirations, in order to inform our rebrand.TTP were keen to foster a collaborative approach to the entire process, involving us intrinsically and gaining our full buy in from the earliest stages, which pleased two slightly OCD architects immeasurably! We are delighted with the end product, from business cards to website. TTP had everything in hand and linked the brand seamlessly.” – Richard & Jonathan.
