The Technology Partnership are a world leading technology company based in Cambridge. They have a global reputation for innovation in the science and engineering sectors working with market leaders from blue chips to start-ups.
We have worked with them for a number of years on a number of promotional items including press advertising and interactive, digital presentation tools, in most instances attempting to simplify and communicate very complex messages.
On the back of this work, they asked us to create a brochure that conveyed the innovation, creative thinking and problem solving services they provide for their clients and which would make them stand out from the crowd.
We reflected their innovation and creativity by incorporating some unusual paper engineering and print processes into the brochure. These included a reverse fold eight page cover with a blind embossed logo, fore-shorted pages, trace paper tip inserts with technical drawing overlays and four colour black and white photography. We combined this with simple, powerful storytelling and bold typography that left the reader wanting to know more about the organisation.
The quality and finish needed to be of the very highest standards so attention to detail throughout all the processes was key. The design and tactile, playful nature of the brochure engages with the reader leaving you with a sense that this is a unique, unconventional organisation that thinks differently.
