Engaging your audience with animation

Videos and animation are a great tool to increase user engagement and brand awareness, which is why their meteoric rise in popularity should come as no shock. The statistics are clear, more time is being spent watching videos online than ever before – people would much rather consume visual content than read walls of text. In most cases, animated videos make information more accessible, digestible and, of course, more interesting!

Although we have a rich portfolio of video animation, we have certainly seen a rise in requests from clients to produce this kind of content, whether it be to communicate complex information and processes, or to convey a brand’s story and purpose. This has certainly been a welcome development, and one that we hope continues so that we can expand our animation capabilities to produce even more elaborate and complex videos which push the boundaries of client expectations.

With this in mind, we have created a guide which details and explains each step of our animation process, from concepts and pre-production through to the animation itself and then sign off. It also includes examples of animations we’ve created to convey our breadth of work and the styles and techniques we utilise. By sharing this document with clients and prospective clients, we hope to demystify the process of creating an animation, and in doing so, give our clients the confidence to plan and engage in this kind of work more.
