One foundation. One family, for new client The Whitgift Foundation.

The Whitgift Foundation is a leading education and care charity with the aim to promote educational excellence, support unpaid carers and provide care services for older people in Croydon.

The Whitgift Foundation is a leading education and care charity with the aim to promote educational excellence, support unpaid carers and provide care services for older people in Croydon. They help educate 3,200 students across 3 schools through a £5 million a year bursary scheme, support thousands of carer’s each year and provide a range of high-quality care services at “Whitgift Care” for the elderly. Having won the tender for the work we are now tasked with undertaking a key stakeholder workshop and creating an authentic brand narrative and a new look & feel that combines the traditional aspects of the charity with a fresh, new visual identity neatly tying all aspects of the Foundation together. We are looking forward to working on this exciting project over the coming months.

“We are delighted to have appointed To The Point who put together a thorough proposal that won us over immediately. Together, we’re looking forward to exploring how we can make the original aims of our Founder, Archbishop John Whitgift, just as relevant today, 420 years on – in our visual identity and messaging. We feel To The Point are exactly the right agency to help us do this.” Catherine Shirley – Head of Marketing and Communications

Shoot the Serif

Shoot the Serif is back! After a brief hiatus from the app store, we have re-invigorated our popular text based game and it’s back in the AppStore for you to fire up on your iPhone or iPad.

Shoot the Serif is an ‘oldie’ but a ‘goodie’. It disappeared from view for a while but now we’ve caught up with recent iOS updates, fixed a couple of bugs and we are back online. It’s a race against time to shoot all the serif characters on the screen. Each stage gets harder with more letters to choose from. If you run out of time or shoot too many sans-serif characters, then it’s game over. Strangely satisfying and popular with typography nerds the world over. Visit the App Store and download it for free.

Online lead generation and bespoke tailored visitor content

We’ve recently been investigating advanced website analytics and visitor tracking with Lead Forensics. With a simple addition of their script, a website administrator can get access to advanced visitor data.

Matching visitor’s IP addresses against a database of businesses using Lead Forensics, you can see who is visiting your site and often company details such as industry, sector, address and contact information.

Settings can be set in your account to narrow results down to criteria such as a specific industry, or pages visited. For example, suppliers and job agencies can be discounted. If someone from your prospective client base visits for a specific length of time, this can be flagged up. For especially ‘hot’ leads alerts can be generated.

Lead Forensics’ sideline WeBeo takes things even further. You can integrate your website with the WeBeo system, based on Lead Forensics’ data to specifically tailor page content based on a visitor’s demographics. You can target individual businesses to deliver tailored messaging or direct businesses within specific sectors to point to specific content on your website.

All in all, a very powerful set of tools to help you understand exactly who is looking at what on your website. This allows you to truly understand if your online content is working, hitting the right audience, and gives you the means to follow up these leads.
