At the heart of this campaign is Ellie and friends – a cast of characters we originally developed with ABPI Education to engage young audiences and make STEM subjects accessible and exciting. This growing world of playful, relatable characters helps to spark curiosity and connect with children on topics that might otherwise seem distant or complex.
In these latest animations, some of Ellie’s friends share their aspirations through short, AI-generated voiceovers. Each character talks about the future job they dream of pursuing – but instead of the typical childhood ambitions like becoming a firefighter or a footballer, they imagine themselves in diverse and exciting STEM careers. From engineers to data scientists, the aim is to broaden young people’s horizons and show that the possibilities in STEM are endless.
By shifting the narrative around future employment opportunities, we are helping ABPI to inspire the next generation to see themselves as future scientists, engineers, and innovators. The goal is to make STEM careers feel attainable and exciting for everyone, especially young girls who are often underrepresented in these fields.
This project is another step in our ongoing mission with ABPI Education: to make the complex simple and to ignite a passion for learning. Through the power of animation and storytelling, we aim to change perceptions and open doors to new possibilities for the scientists of tomorrow.

Exploring the Science of Cookery with Ellie and Michelin-Starred Chef Rob Aikens
Continuing our work on the Ellie book series, the latest adventure featuring Ellie takes a delicious turn. Titled “Ellie Discovers the Science of Cookery,” this new story was created in collaboration with Michelin-starred chef Rob Aikens, known for his innovative approach to combining science and cuisine, who also makes a special appearance in the book. It explores fascinating food science topics such as zero food waste and fermentation, breaking down complex concepts into fun, accessible lessons for children.
Through Ellie’s culinary journey, young readers are introduced to the scientific principles behind everyday cooking processes. The book not only encourages curiosity about how food works but also promotes sustainable practices by highlighting ways to reduce waste. With Rob Aikens’ expertise, these lessons are both informative and engaging, blending culinary artistry with scientific discovery.
