Our ‘Force for Good’ campaigns
Our chat focused on our ’Force for good campaigns’ and how a combination of two of our core skills ‘making the complex simple’ and ‘typography’ have played a major role in their successes and executions.
Other contributors and talks at the event included:
Typeland – Amifer Folio:
Typelands co-founder Alessia Mazzarella, discussed the custom display typeface they had created for the Globe Theatre to mark the 400th anniversary of the First Folio. It included an overview of the creative processes, design challenges as well as fruitful collaborations and insights into creating custom fonts.
The Team – Type is Identity.
Members of The Team discussed the rebranding of one of the largest and oldest savings organisations in the UK, NS&I, sharing their approach and how they evolved a font, in collaboration with Fontsmith to anchor the entire identity system.
SophiaTypeLove – Let’s Talk About Fonts
Sophie, a UK-based typeface designer, discussed stories behind the making of a selection of her font families.
Collaboration and discussion in a warm, friendly environment
The evening provided a lovely, relaxed atmosphere with a really interesting mix of discussions and viewpoints all under the umbrella of typography. A selection of photography from the evening is shown above.
Emma Charter, Marketing Manager at Better Bankside had this to say about the event
It was fantastic to bring together the creative agencies in Bankside for our inaugural Evening of Typeface. London Design Festival has always been a highlight in Bankside’s calendar, and the evening celebrated the very best in design creativity within our neighbourhood. Thank you to ToThePoint in taking part, and showcasing all the amazing work they do.
