New brand identity for PMCPA

On the back of our successful brand refresh work for The Association of the British Pharmaceutical Industry (ABPI) which included a new brand look and feel, digital assets, video assets, interiors, and brand guidelines, we were approached by Alex Fell​, Director at Prescription Medicines Code of Practice Authority (PMCPA) to overhaul their brand.

We have worked closely with EFG for a few years now on its end-of-year Outlook Reviews – a forward-thinking collection of professional advice packaged in a digital and printed brochure distributed around the world. It is always interesting to see both the insights and how close they have been the following year when they score themselves on accuracy. With Covid and market volatility thrown into the mix, we know what a challenge it can be.

The Association for Science Education where hosting their annual conference at Sheffield Hallam University earlier in the year and our friends over at ABPI Schools were in attendance. We were asked by our client to create a short promo video that depicts educational offering that ABPI Schools provides on their site.

Our new report for ABPI features new information graphic styling to convey some very important stats and information which needed to be brought to the fore and highlighted as it impacts on government, the NHS and the wider UK economy.

Lloyd’s Register Foundation stand at the 2023 Economist World Ocean Summit

In mid-January we were approached by Grace Marren, (communications at Lloyd’s Register Foundation) to create the look and feel for an exhibition stand for the 2023 World Ocean Summit being held in Lisbon from 27 February to 1 March. The brief was fairly straightforward but timings were tight for a design and build. The Foundation had booked a 6m x 6m space consisting of two, six-metre-long walls which they wanted to fill with artworks incorporating their new brand, as well as images, and key messages related to their commitment to ‘safety at sea’.

2022, the year of firsts

In many ways, 2022 was a year of firsts for the UK. The Lionesses showing us how to win a major football trophy after over 70 years, Rishi Sunak becoming Britain’s first Asian Prime Minister, enjoying (or not) the hottest recorded temperatures in UK history, and Queen Elizabeth II becoming our longest-reigning monarch, until her sad passing in September. In recognition of celebrated firsts, we thought we would showcase the year with examples of some of our own firsts for 2022.

Croydon Stands Tall branding

In 2023 Croydon will host the London Borough of Culture and, as part of this great achievement, an exciting opportunity came our way: to create a campaign brand for ‘Croydon Stands Tall’. This charity fundraising campaign for Crisis is a collaboration between Wild in Art, a popular art events platform, and Croydon BID. It’s a multi-dimensional project that involved creating a new brand from scratch, as well as guidelines, templates and a colourful promotional brochure to attract sponsorship for the project that will put a positive spotlight on Croydon.
